This is the Fulled Lopi Tote I made from Hello Yarn. I love the way it looks! It was my first time making a handle like that and I got a bit confused.....until Anne the knitting guru explained how to do it! To felt this tote it took 3 cycles in my washing machine. I think this bag will be great for small knitting projects. Now, I really should get back to my shadow knitting project! I'm almost to the center stripe, which means that I would be half way done! I'll take a pic when I get to that point. Posted by Hello

This is the glittering eyeglass case from the book Exquisite Little Knits book. I used 1 skein of berroco mettalic and cast on 36 on size 8, and then followed the pattern. This was the perfect size for a lipstick or a pair of eyeglasses. It was so easy to make....it took about 2 hours from beginning to end. (I think it took longer to find the bead!)  Posted by Hello

Here's the pink felted bag I made for my "girlfriend" Moe! To make it more "girly" I went to Michael's Craft store and bought some self-adhesive decorative patches. They came in a pack of 12 and I used 3 on each side of the bag. I ironed them on (per the package instructions) and viola! I am so happy with the way it turned out! I wish it was Christmas so I could give this to her now! I know that she will love it! Posted by Hello

Saturday my boys and I had the opportunity to witness a sheep shearing at Chris' place. It was a beautiful day and my boys found it rather interesting! I couldn't believe the amount of wool on the sheep. Apparently, they got 40 pounds of wool from the sheep. Some will be made into a blanket and some will be made into yarn. I can't wait to see how both will turn out! Posted by Hello
